Gary McKinnon - Do Not Extradite Gary McKinnon

Janis Sharp the mother of Gary McKinnon, made a plea to the US president Barack Obama and said "Please hear us, Obama. I know you would do the right thing.".

Gary maintains he was searching for classified material concerning UFO's but a US prosecutor has described his alleged computer hack, as the "biggest military computer hack of all time".

He is accused of hacking into 97 United States military and NASA computers in 2001 and 2002, using the name "Solo".


40 British MPs have signed a letter to the US President, to step in and "bring this shameful episode to an end".

Gary McKinnon has been diagnosed Asperger syndrome, a form of autism.

McKinnon was traced in 2002 and arrested under the Computer Misuse Act by the UK National Hi-Tech Crime Unit.

Towards the end of 2002, he was indicted by the US government.

McKinnon remained free without any restrictions whatsoever, for three years until June 2005.

The two governments waited for three years, because they wanted to sign a new extradition treaty, which they did in 2005.

His bail conditions required him to sign in at the police station every evening, and to remain at his home every night.

McKinnon was also banned from using a computer with Internet access.

Κατηγορείται από την Αμερική, ότι τα χρόνια 2001 και 2002 έσπασε τους κωδικούς σε περισσότερους από 97 ηλεκτονικούς υπολογιστές του στρατού και της NASA, χρησιμοποιώντας το ψευδώνυμο Solo.

Ενώ οι Βρετανικές Αρχές τον συνέλαβαν το 2002, τον άφησαν άμεσα ελεύθερο και δεν έκαναν τίποτα μέχρι το 2005 διότι οι δύο κυβερνήσεις περίμεναν να υπογράψουν μία συμφωνία για ανταλλαγή κατηγορουμένων.

Οι Ευρωπαίοι πολίτες πρέπει να ξεσηκωθούν ενάντια στους νόμους που έγιναν επί George Bush και να τελειώνουμε με τις μιλιταρισκές ατζέντες τους.

Είναι δυνατόν Εργατική κυβέρνηση της Βρετανίας να έχει κάνει όλα τα χατηράκια του ακροδεξιού Bush;
