The toss up states are no more for the GOP.
In the 2004 Presidential election George W. Bush had beaten John Kerry by 17% in Ohio.
It is a whole new ball game this time around.
In a new poll for Time Magazine and CNN the Republicans have lost the two states to the Democrats.
In the heart of the GOP Convention in St Paul, Minneapolis MN, Barack Obama has a 12 point lead 53% to John McCain's 41%.
The same story in Ohio, a 15% lead, 55% for Obama to a mere 40% for McCain.
Sarah Palin will deliver her convention speech, in a couple of hours.
